Kia ora, I'm Carolyn Smith, the creator of Woven Collaboration.
The name is derived from the whakatauki/proverb that 'many cords together are strong.'
When we have a shared purpose, and bring together our collective ideas, experiences, knowledge, values, energy and resources, we can achieve anything!
My expertise lies in designing approaches that enables collective dreaming and planning.
I draw from research, training and experiences with different models and methodologies to collaboration and strategic planning, to design simplified processes that deliver clear, achievable and measurable outcomes.
I have worked with a diverse range of organisations, programmes, and projects including NGO's and community organisations, central and local Government, social enterprise, education, and tangata whenua.
I'm tertiary qualified and trained in strategy, communications, engagement, facilitation, conflict resolution, project and programme management and leadership.
Outside of work, you'll find me hanging out with whānau and friends, exploring new and beautiful wild places, and volunteering with organisations that are empowering communities and helping the environment.
